Here is my easy and tasty recipe for kadai masala chicken!
Ingredients:
1/2 kg chicken
1/2 kg yogurt
4 sliced onions
1/2 cup tomato puree
salt to taste
1/4 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp red chilli powder (you can add more if you'd like)
1/4 tsp turmeric
fresh coriander leaves
5 cut green chillies
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 cup oil
1 cup water
Directions:
Pour the oil in a pan and sauté the onions in and then add the chicken and ginger garlic paste and sauté for 2 minutes.
Mix in the yogurt.
After that add in all the spices and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
Add the tomato puree and the water and close the lid for about 15 minutes until the chicken is soft.
Add the coriander leaves, green chillies and garam masala powder.
Keep it on a low flame for 5 minutes and serve hot!
