Chicken Fajita Grilled Sandwich

Today I will share how to make my chicken fajita grilled sandwich.This is a quick recipe I made today that anyone can follow. It is delicious and goes perfect with my strawberry smoothie (recipe on the blog as well).


Ingredients:


  • 2 slices of bread

  • 1 tbsp vinegar

  • 200g boneless chicken cut into long strips (this will make 2 sandwiches)

  • 1 bell pepper (cut into long slices)

  • 1 medium sized onion (cut into slices)

  • 1 tsp chilli powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1/2 tsp zeera powder (cumin powder)

  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder

  • 1 tbsp oregano

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 4 tbsp ketchup

  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce

  • 1 tsp soy sauce

  • 5 tbsp water

  • Butter (or oil) to grease

  • Mozzarella cheese (to taste)

  • Cheddar cheese (to taste)


Directions:


  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the chicken and mix until the chicken changes colour.

  2. Add in the vinegar, bell pepper, onion, chilli powder, salt, black pepper powder, zeera powder, coriander powder, paprika powder, oregano, garlic powder, ketchup, chilli sauce and soy sauce.

  3. Add 5 tbsp of water to the pan and cover.

  4. Add a little butter (or oil) to grease your griller and take your 2 slices of bread and add butter to one side of each slice.

  5. Add your filling in between the slices of the bread along with mozzarella and cheddar cheese inside.

  6. Leave your sandwich to grill (flip once one side is done so that both sides are grilled) until brown and crisp.

  7. Cut down the middle and serve with your favourite dip!
