Potato and Spaghetti rolls

I always make these during Ramadan and thoroughly enjoy them.



Ingredients:


2 potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)

Handful of spaghetti, broken and boiled

1 tbsp soy sauce

1/2 tsp chicken powder

1/2 tsp crushed red chillies

1/2 tsp black pepper

salt to taste



Directions:


  1. Add the spaghetti to the mashed potatoes and mash together

  2. Add the soy sauce, chicken powder, crushed red chillies, black pepper, salt and marinate well. Keep aside in the fridge for 1/2 an hour to 1 hour so that the potatoes set.

  3. Place a disposable plastic bag and sprinkle with cornflour.

  4. Roll the potato mixture onto the sheet (if you have kids you can make these into different shapes) and coat well in the cornflour.

  5. Leave them in the fridge for 15 mins - 1/2 an hour to set.

  6. Fry the rolls in a little oil (don't deep fry)

  7. Serve with your favourite dip (e.g: ketchup)
